The first time I had Frohman visit the world of Counter-Strike (comics 40-43), I sort of rushed through it out of fear that readers might not appreciate a lengthy deviation from the Half-Life 2 storyline. As it turned out, those four CS comics are probably the most popular ones in the series, and so I've been itching to get Frohman back to CS to do some of the things I really wanted to do the first time he was there. Okay, I'm also putting off having to pose antlions for as long as I possibly can. Good timing, though: that's the newly released Militia map shown the comic, as well as the recently released Guerilla terrorist model. Plus, we're supposed to be getting two more new CS models from Valve sometime soon, hopefully in time to put them in the comic. |
